SEIU Negotiations Update
On April 14, 2026, Los Angeles Unified and SEIU, Local 99 reached an Agreement in Principle, which was subsequently detailed and re-signed on April 23, 2026, as a Tentative Agreement between the parties for Units B, C, F & G. These Agreements are subject to ratification by union members and approval by the Board of Education. The 2024-2027 Tentative Agreements for Units B, C, F & G are available for review at the links below.

UTLA Negotiations Update
On April 12, 2026, Los Angeles Unified and United Teachers Los Angeles reached a tentative agreement following a year of successor bargaining. This agreement is subject to ratification by union members and approval by the Board of Education. The 2025-2027 tentative agreement is available for review at the link below:

AALA/Teamsters 2010 Negotiations Update

AALA/Teamsters 2010 Unit M (Certificated) Negotiations Update
The District and AALA/Teamsters 2010 Unit M met on April 6th to continue negotiations of their 2025-2028 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The District presented a package proposal with a 10% wage increase.

AALA/Teamsters 2010 Unit J Negotiations Update

LA/OC Building & Construction Trades Council Negotiations Update
Los Angeles Unified is pleased to announce that on May 15, 2026, the District reached a tentative agreement on the 2025 through 2027 collective bargaining agreement with the LA/OC Building & Construction Trades Council, representing more than 1,400 skilled crafts employees, including plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, electricians, roofers, and many other highly skilled trades workers. This agreement is subject to ratification by union members and approval by the Board of Education.
UTLA Negotiations Update
On April 1, 2026, the District and UTLA met to continue negotiations of the 2025-2028 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The District's proposals can be found here:

UTLA Fact-Finding Report
On March 11, 2026, the District and United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) completed Fact-Finding, a stage of the bargaining process in which both parties present proposals, budget, and other information to a neutral fact-finder, who evaluates the record and issues recommendations for a fair agreement.
On March 30, 2026, the neutral panel chair issued the Fact-Finding Report in connection with ongoing negotiations. LAUSD remains committed to reaching a fair and responsible agreement that honors the work of teachers, counselors, nurses, and other UTLA-represented staff while safeguarding the District’s ability to serve students now and in the future. Teamsters Local 572 Negotiations Update
Los Angeles Unified is pleased to announce that the District has reached a tentative agreement on the 2024 through 2027 collective bargaining Agreement with Teamsters Local 572, representing more than 3,200 classified supervisors such as school administrative assistants, food services managers, and plant managers. This Agreement is subject to ratification by Union members and approval by the Board of Education.
CSEA Negotiations Update
Los Angeles Unified is pleased to announce on Friday, February 6, 2026 the District has reached a tentative agreement on the 2024-25 and 2025-26 reopeners of the 2023-2026 collective bargaining Agreement with California School Employees Association (CSEA) and Its Chapter 500. CSEA represents more than 4450 classified employees including office, technical, and business service staff. This Agreement is subject to ratification by Union members and approval by the Board of Education.
LASPMA Negotiations Update
Los Angeles Unified is pleased to announce on Thursday, February 12, 2026 the District has reached a tentative agreement on the 2025 through 2028 collective bargaining Agreement with the Los Angeles School Police Management Association. LASPMA represents Sergeants, Lieutenants and Safety Officer Sergeants. This Agreement is subject to ratification by Union members and approval by the Board of Education.
LASPA Negotiations Update
Los Angeles Unified is pleased to announce on Friday, February 13, 2026 the District has reached a tentative agreement on the 2025 through 2028 collective bargaining Agreement with the Los Angeles School Police Association. LASPA represents School Safety Officers, School Police Officers, Senior School Police Officers and Police Detectives. This Agreement is subject to ratification by Union members and approval by the Board of Education.
SEIU Negotiations Update
On Monday, February 2, 2026, the District’s labor team and SEIU met with the State Mediator. Prior to mediation, the District sent SEIU a new proposal which included a 13% wage increase over three years.
